So Hopkins using dirty tactics from the very first punch he threw isn't mentally weak, but Dawson responding to it is mentally weak? Why is Hopkins allowed to fight dirty but someone fighting fire with fire is mentally weak?

He flipped out because he's pissed off. This was a fight he's been trying to get for years, and when he does, this bullsh** happens. Single leg takedown my ass, Hopkins was all over his back, he lifted him with nothing but his shoulder. Dawson didn't put a glove on Hopkins's leg until both of Hopkins's feet were off the ground.

What is truly disgusting is the way Hopkins quit. He didn't hurt anything
the way he fell.
Fact is, he noticed how quickly Dawson came out for the first round and how intent he was. Hopkins knew that there was no intimidation possible here,
so he quit before he took the beating that he knew was coming.
Hopkins should n't be allowed to fight anymore.

Mate, he had a dislocated bone, verified at the hospital.
