Fights like this are the reason why I'm a boxing fan. I just rewatched this fight and I'm humbled by these two warriors...

Linares looked very sharp early on in the fight and was really putting on a boxing clinic as he landed some pretty sweet combinations and quick counter punches . But credit to Demarco for hanging in there with him and not getting discouraged. He picked his shots and started timing Linares very well and fought at a real measured pace. Demarco didn't waste a lot of punches but when he did punch he made it count and he turned it on when it counted....

After having to listen to Kellerman and Steward drool all over Linares, I was glad to see DeMarco pull off the upset. I still don't think either of them could beat Bam Bam though.
