Hopkins was never gonna beat Dawson

Hopkins gameplan was to move arround and occasionaly throw the lead right hand.

It didnt work, he never landed that punch got frustrated so he quit.

Nazeem Richardson and Hopkins are both very overated. They arent the tactical geniuses everyone think they are

Hopkins was landing early in this fight. It usually takes a few rounds for him to get going. This fight was going to be an interesting one from a tactical standpoint. Once they overturn this and give Hopkins his belt back, we can see it for real.

Wasnt even a full two rounds, says nothing, Ive seen Hopkins lose many early rounds only to dominate fights. Hopkins isnt going to show his hand that early for his opponent to have 10 rounds to adjust, no he's gonna let you show yours so he sees what he has to do for the rest of the fight.

If Pascal actually threw punches he woulda won. So I dont understand how anyone thought Hop would win when obviously Chad, like I said the bigger and stronger man, was going to keep throwing and pressing him. Hop isn't beating someone constantly pressuring him and constantly throwing, ESPECIALLY at this age. Idk why people can't accept that like he isnt pushing his 50's. You expect him to dominate forever

Everyone knows they have to make bhop work and not dictate the pace. But no one can do it. Im guessing its just a bit harder than "just throwing punches".

I know it was a risky bet but the ods were good.

Hopkins is getting old and Dawson is a big dude. So I tought +750 on Dawson winning by stoppage was worth the risk.

Dawson is the real deal

He wont beat bhop. His identity problems will be exposed. He thought he had a gameplan and bhop stifled it for the first 2 rds. Chad should have pushed it early in the fight, he's not gonna fight bhop and make adjustments and outduel bhop over 12 rounds. He needs to be the boss in there and he's not built for that.
