Holmes was on a different level to Vitali, i could see him handing out a severe boxing lesson and maybe even stopping the big fella late. Apart from sheer bulk Vitali has not one single tool that matches Holmes. I like Vitali but if Holmes would have been around the last 10 years he would have held the title for all that time plus probably another 5 years more Rocky's record would have been smashed and also Joe Louis record of 12 years as champion.

Larry Holmes took some monster shots that would have killed Wlad and floored Vitali.

I mean kill Wlad. I love Wlad but the shots Holmes took from Shavers and STILL GOT BACK UP. Would have comatose Wlad.

The Ernie Punch that took down Holmes would have KO Vitali. It was surreal how much recovery power a PRIME HOLMES HAD.

I woulda favor a prime Holmes over anyone in the history of the HW Division

Holmes is just a great boxer. If it as Larry Holmes in today's HW Division instead of the Kbros.

He would be compared to Joe Louis he will literally be like 100-0
with 98% KO RATIO.

David Haye will NEVER have come up.

What's more with Prime Holmes in today's division, no HW will be fat and out of shape either. Cuz see

a fat out of shape bum against Kbros means easy money clinching and a boring fight

a fat out of shape bum against Holmes and Holmes will send you to your grave early.

I just read the thread actually

and saw the video.

The Holmes in that video was far from prime.

The Larry that fought Ken Norton or Ernie Shavers would have taken Berbick's ****ing head off.
