The funniest part was when Max asked to look at the other shoulder and BHop quickly tilts that shoulder down to try and make the "injured" shoulder look higher (swollen).

You really aren't suppose to push, I am not a huge stickler for the rules but if a guy pushes and a guy gets injured to me that is an accident at the very least.

If B-Hop fell on his own with zero help from Chad I get that, but Chad was involved.

I agree, Williams-Cintron this wasn't. In that case I can understand the ruling, but in this instance Hopkins was injured because Dawson forcefully propelled him to the ground. I do believe pushing and shoulder strikes are not in the rulebook as authorized boxing techniques.

I noticed that too. And also, who grimaces like that in front of thousand of people? I don't care how much pain I am in, I am going to hold my pain in so I wouldn't look like a complete whuss. Unless I have an ulterior motive to show that I am in pain.

the grimaces don't really matter as much as the fact that hopkins refused to get up.

I certainly feel you it is a fight and if a guy is going to clinch you can't just let that happen, but if that leads to a guy getting accidentally injured to me you can't reward either guy if both played a role in that sort of ending.

It did seem really soft though~

it is a pretty unique scenario. I just have a really hard time watching a guy do something illegal, get injured while doing it, and end up getting a freebie NC when the injury was mostly caused by himself.

Lederman said that according to ABC Boxing Rules, the TKO could only come from a legal move. Therefore this case, it should've been called a No Contest/Decision

I thought getting somebody off of your back with a shoulder was a legal move to create punching space. It happens in all fights in the pocket.
Literally every pocket fight. Hopkins flopped and lost his title this time.
