  • What Improvements Need To Be Made To Fix Boxing's Problems?

What do you think are the biggest improvements that need to be made for this sport? And do you ever see boxing as a mainstream sport again like it once was?

Less belts, better judging and better matchups...

less belts...and maybe i am crazy but 13rounds would be better then 12...least chance of gettting screwed, less chance of draw, and would cut the weak from the man

the only guys that would make 15 round (if they were still around in our era:because of stamine or heart) would be:

      gatti
      mayorga
      tito
      KT
      and especially hopkins

One unified SUPER CHAMP . . . 5 judges (one at each side of the ring . . . the fifth would be the ref) . . . decissions should be subject for review and results can be overturned if found questionable. Incompetent Refs and judges should be banned for life from the sports. All details of fighters cotracts and negotiations by the promoters should be transparent to the public.

Don King, Arum and Murad should be eliminated!

Boxing will continue to evolve and several variables beyond control are involve like greed of promoters, greed of sanctioning bodies, corrupt judges, corrupt referees, big time syndicate and several other variables. The dynamics of boxing is a chaotic process and all we can do boxing fans is hope for the better.

I definately agree with some of the above posts, but someone from outside the sport needs to come in and clean house, as some of the crooked bastards within the sport tend to look out for one another, and allow each other to continue to corrupt the sport. Someone needs to remove enough of the bad apples that the rest will at least be fearful of someone ratting on them, and operate in at least a somewhat honest manner.

Sadly, that has always proven to be the case.

Hey I know that question is not intended for me . . . but my guess would be ALLAH.
