Get the fighters to prepare as good as in the days and make em fight the best not easy ones and make them fight atleast 4 times a year.

How about Judges penalizing scoring for excessive holding ( nothing to do with John Ruiz LOL ). But some fighter punch a combo then hold and stop the other guy fighting so they steal the rounds ( again, nothing to do with John Ruiz! ). If the judging were to be mudified so that the fighter who held excessively would maybe not win rounds because of it, then it may reflect the fight more so.
