Makes no sense for Floyd to fight Sergio

Don't kid yourself, IF Martinez vs Mayweather (by the act of god) DOES happen, winner is #1 and very very very very EASILY so. Pac has absolutely done nothing to maintain the status as #1 p4p. He hasn't even beaten a TOP, ELITE WW/fighter since Cotto (if you actually want to call the paper titlist elite after quitting vs Margarito).

So don't be ignorant just because you like Pac. And save yourself on replying with you got to beat the man to be the man etc etc etc. Pac didn't beat anyone to get the #1 P4P title, Floyd retired and since De La Hoya who handed the title to Floyd is "retired", Floyd will become (again) the P4P #1 IF he did beat the former undisputed JMW World Champion and CURRENT middle weight World Champion. Same for Martinez, IF he did beat Mayweather....

Pac is fighting irrelevant fighter after irrelevent fighter while Mayweather is fighting Champion after Champion and again IF Mayweather did beat Martinez, Floyd supersedes everything Pac has done since moving up from 130 and most agree that Mayweather is one of the best if not THE BEST 130 lber that ever did it.

Obevesily they WONT be #1 by JUST signing a contract. Don't be naive. Who ever wins validates being #1. You are looking at WHO Pac fought and not WHEN he fought them. Look at the situation correctly, WHO was Cotto after being smashed by Marg? A paper titlist and Pac's BEST victory since moving up from 130. WHO was Hoya when Pac fought him? Nobody at WW, it was just the concept of a mismatch that absolutely means nothing at the end of the day. WHO was Marg/Clottey/Mosley? Not a SINGLE one was ranked above #5 or #6 P4P/WW/JMW.

There was a time when Margarito was a WW Champion just like there was a time when Ali was a HW Champion. Pac hasn't done anything in years to even validate being #2 or even #3 P4P. Its not about WHO but WHEN. Think for a second, not WHO but WHEN.

Remember Muhammad Ali was HW Champion and just because Trevor Berbik beat him at the end of his career doesn't mean Berbik is ATG. Now think, when did Pac fight Clottey, Margarito and Mosley? Which reminds me what was Cotto rated at when Pac fought him?

Again, who ever wins the fight IF...... (BIG IF) it happens WILL be #1 P4P.
