No, whoever wins is garanteed to be no2 in the world. There would be no arguments. But a winner between 2 and 3 dont make you number 1, because someone has to win between Sergio and Floyd, no matter how bad they might perform. Even if both perform terribly and dont even look like the the 2nd and 3rd best fighters in the world.

True, we need to know who is Pacs real challenger. Time to stop messsing about now.

TBH Manny is a better fighter than Martinez.

I have said that for a minute, and while most don't agree, more and more people are starting to come around to this fact.

Martinez destruction of Williams, Dzinziruk and him beating Pavlik was great, but after watching tape of both guys.....without a shadow of doubt, Manny is clearly the better fighter and would beat Martinez at a fight contested between 150-154.

Martinez only beats Manny if the fight is contest above 154.

I think Martinez stops Manny at 154. Martinez actually uses his legs, and would be the hardest puncher Manny has fought.

I really doubt Bob Arum makes this fight without some serious stipulations. Between Manny and Floyd, I believe Floyd has the better chance against Martinez because of styles.

Don't kid yourself, IF Martinez vs Mayweather (by the act of god) DOES happen, winner is #1 and very very very very EASILY so. Pac has absolutely done nothing to maintain the status as #1 p4p. He hasn't even beaten a TOP, ELITE WW/fighter since Cotto (if you actually want to call the paper titlist elite after quitting vs Margarito).

So don't be ignorant just because you like Pac. And save yourself on replying with you got to beat the man to be the man etc etc etc. Pac didn't beat anyone to get the #1 P4P title, Floyd retired and since De La Hoya who handed the title to Floyd is "retired", Floyd will become (again) the P4P #1 IF he did beat the former undisputed JMW World Champion and CURRENT middle weight World Champion. Same for Martinez, IF he did beat Mayweather....

Pac is fighting irrelevant fighter after irrelevent fighter while Mayweather is fighting Champion after Champion and again IF Mayweather did beat Martinez, Floyd supersedes everything Pac has done since moving up from 130 and most agree that Mayweather is one of the best if not THE BEST 130 lber that ever did it.
