Natas, he wasn't slammed, he was thrown off. That's what happens when boxers don't like opponents putting all their weight on backs. If Bhop really got hurt, he caused it. You know, there's one way to fall to minimize chances of getting hurt. He knows that way, imo he put his elbow to land first purposely. He's smart enough to do it so I wouldn't put it past him.

hopkins threw a punch, dawson ducked real low, they made contact, dawson cuffed his hand under hopkins leg, lifted up and pushed forward with his body. That certainly isn't a standard boxing move is it? You can blame hopkins all you want for missing his punch and leaning on top of the ducking dawson all you want, but dawson lifting bhops leg certainly wasn't a legal issue either.

No contest, man. That's not a TKO victory by any stretch of the imagination.

And let's not forget moments before when dawson had hopkins on the ropes he pushed and held his elbow/foreman in hopkins throat and pushed for several seconds. Is that also a standard boxing move?

I don't think he said yes, I heard him say "with one arm".

I don't think Hopkins was faking, besides its been released on here that a doctor said he was injured, its easily plausible that he was injured and couldn't continue.

Fairest result would of been a NC and I think it will be overturned, I'm fine with a rematch personally.

I was sorta 50/50 on whether it was or wasn't, there clearly were shots landed before him going down but Hopkins was also grabbing and pushing a bit so I find it hard to argue with it being called a slip.

Ok, if you're going to go that route the ref certainly didn't make it clear that if hopkins didn't continue he'd lose by TKO!

Of course, the Referee was poor and his communication and Decision was poor.

But that doesn't put Hopkins in the clear because what it all boils down to is Hopkins actions showed he was not eager to continue. It's abudently clear.

Clotteys hand was never broken, he admitted that going into the fight with Corrales... he had what the Dr said was a bruised Knuckle, but you are right Flopkins quit.

With his facial expression and body language, he was asking for the fight to get stopped.


Cintron said the same thing. He said he told the doctor he could continue but he stayed laying down basically for the doc to take pity on him and stop the fight. This is exactly what Hopkins did, he said he could continue but acted like he couldn't so that ring doctor and ref could stop the fight. Luckily the ref saw right through the bullshit and just called a TKO.

Barely anyone is arguing that the Decision was right. It wasn't, it's an obvious NC. And Hopkins should still have his belt.

But as a Hopkins fan it's difficult for you to complain about tactics like using forearms and things like that as Dawson did when I know you know that Hopkins entire career has consisted of things of those nature.

I was elated when Dawson shoved his forearm in Hopkins face. Hopkins has no place to complain about things like that and even in that very fight he was leaning all over Dawson.

And that's exactly what Hopkins wanted. He wanted an NC, keep the titles, and not fight Dawson again. But it didn't happen. Luckily for him GBP is not only powerful enough to bribe doctors in to giving fake reports, GBP can also overturn the decision to an NC and Hopkins keeps his belts and doesn't fight Dawson again. Nicely planned out by Team Hopkins and GBP.
