The fight was getting interesting and ended in a bad way (though it was legal). I wanted to see Floyd pick Ortiz apart or Ortiz come on stronger towards the end.. Ortiz is an idiot and Floyd exploited it. To sum it all up.. I just wanted to see the fight end properly

no, hopkins throws a right hand, dawsons ducks and is pushed and held down by hopkins, but the main reason dawsons touched the canvas was because he was saw the second right hand from hopkins and in his position lost balance and touched down when ducking again to avoid it

we're arguing "did hopkins knock down dawson" not "did hopkins jump on dawson back"

the whole point is hopkins caught dawson with a short inside shot that rocked dawsons knees & his hand touched the canvas........

it should have been ruled a knock down............

Floyd exploited the inexperience of Ortiz. Ortiz shouldn't have hugged Floyd after kissing and apologizing moments before. Just fight.. Floyd don't give a **** about any of that bull****. Just like Floyd popped Mosley in the face for trying to tapp gloves every so often. Floyd pulled a bittch ass move but it was legal.. the ref also ****ked up. It was a whole sequence of **** ups

but the whole night of fights was excelent imo

not every damn fight will be a rocky movie(i know thats not what u ddidnt like)

but yes its nice when it plays out naturaly

both guys landed 5 punches in round 1. dawson was 5 out of 34 & hopkins was 5 out of 13.........hopkins landed at a higher rate but dawson landed the more effective blows.

hopkins put dawson on his a** in round 2 & it should have been a knock down which would have made it a 10 8 round for hopkins.........but for some odd reason the ref verbally attacked hopkins after he knocked dawson down. the refs calls were strange............
