This is 2 ppvs in a row, spoiled. 2 potentially good fights where the ref screwed up and put the kibosh on all the action. Is it just a coincidence? Or is there a Specific reason these ppvs were turned into bizzare events?

To top it all off, Hopkins clearly told the referee he wanted to continue twice while on the canvas. Go back and watch the video.

He didn't quit, he was fouled, and dislocated his shoulder. Dawson is a punk bitch with a lisp who is actually proud of himself for winning a title on a clear foul.

I think he was being sarcastic when saying he wanted to continue with one arm. Hopkins thought he would get a NC (and then a rematch and another payday) but you can quickly see how his expression changed when he got hint of him losing his title.

If he had really wanted to fight he would have made it to his feet. I was at STAPLES last night and there was a good delay between the incident and the official ruling of the fight. There was enough time while the situation was being sorted out for Bernard and his team to step up and lobby for the fight to be continued.

Dawson didnt even really throw Hopkins down. He bucked upward to shake him off and then ducked down. Hopkins played off it and flailed down as if he was thrown down. But he wasnt. And then he got hurt for overdramatizing it. But I think it should be a no contest because it was just an accident. I think Dawson was controlling the fight but the announcers were not even giving him credit.

I Think The Ref Was Disgusted With Bhop

I was watching the ref and noticed throughout the night he was excited to be part of that fight, and when Bhop went down and said he couldnt continue the ref new the night was destroyed and it makes boxing look bad.

That's why I think he didn't rule a foul and called it a tko.

This is a strategy I see on here all the time, If you can't find a legit reason to hate on a boxer you just say they are on steroids with no proof other than the bitter guy who lost the fight's word for it.

With his history of fighting and beating Echols with an injured shoulder, I think the referee should have given him the opportunity to do so.
