Hopkins is a legend, he didn't quit. Why would he train all those months to quit? Hopkins loves to win, he obsessed with adding to his legacy. He wanted to win that fight. Dawson got frusterated with Hopkins rough tactics and threw him on the canvas. Dawson quit more than B-Hop did. If the ref would have told Hopkins you have 5 minutes to decide if you want to go on, otherwise Dawson gets the belt. Hopkins would have fought on.

At least it wasn't as bad as Solis' KO loss at the hands of V. Klitschko.

I hope that there's a rematch, but I feel that at Hopkins age, and having an injury, he might just retire.

No he's not. This just proved that which I knew all this time-that he's not worthy of being called LEGEND. He can be called HOF-worthy and all that, but a legend in the mould of Salvador Sanchez or Alexis Arguello he def is NOT! Even RJJ will be remembered as a legend, but he won't.

I don't think BHOP would just quit, he loves to win too much. If he was scared of Dawson or whatever, then he never would have taken the fight.

Bah, he was on steroids against Pascal anyway! Even Pascal knew it.
