The VisionQuest income is for product endorsement, a diverse form of publicity that pays very well. Manny has no need to dodge a tax bill.
This is just another wealthy athlete story with no legs.
For Floyd lovers, it's a seeming slice of vindication.

Mayweather has been obviously blacklisted from most, if not all, consumer advertising activity.
He is associated with assault, lousy sportsmanship and is not considered by the advertising world as anything but a very good boxer fueled by the act of a pro wrestler.
The WWF is long gone but Pacquiao is very much here and Floyd berates Manny's attributes as the result of Barry Bond tactics.
Slander is another piece of the Mayweather arsonal.
This is not how one makes friends at HP, Apple or in a sport that sees one of the best run from his most prolific challange.
Floyd excuses himself from a Pac showdown with the tact of a tiny Hulk Hogan gone mad.

When a professional prizefighter burns a $100 bill on videotape, he is going to be placed under a fiscal microscope.
Mayweather is quite simply, insultingly arrogant inside and outside of the ring.
His nature is that of the school bully, always bragging and picking on weaker prey.
This also seems to include 80 year old sports journalists.
In a country that suffers from a 9.1 % unemployment rate, this athlete has the audacity to steal dollars from those fans who made his career.
He ended a 60 buck PPV with 2 sucker punches.
Ray Robinson is spinning in his resting place.

If 'Pretty Boy' were indeed the best at anything, he would respond with discipline as opposed to sneaky malice. In a sport that gets a black eye each time a top pro acts like a spoiled child, Mayweather's actions hurt the game.
He reigns with rage as a man like Bernard Hopkins places a brave face on Boxing every fan can be proud of.
Regardless of the Dawson outcome, his desire to fight the best is a testament worthy of unique praise.
Pac and B-Hop represent what is truly valient about prizefighting.
They represent members of a league that expresses class.
Floyd has little desire for such true virtue. That would require too much risk.

Manny has never displayed any features that could be assigned to biting the hand that feeds him.
He therefore gets the benefits of any doubts in my book when it comes to taxation or more significantly, humanity and wealth of the human soul.
getfo. you dont know anything about pac financial situation. you talk like you do mannys personals. an manny avoided so many good boxers and chose insted to fight old men and in house fights where the order for his opponet was to lose. as evidenced by clottey a man who throws a hundred punches per round and landed at will on pac, to just cover up and coast. and shane who was forced to sign a top stank contract, to jab for most of the fight. when all in boxing know shane dont jab he jusy throws bombs. pac fans act like pac makes money like bill gates. but if that were the case, why is he borrowing money from his accountants? you act like floyd is hurting the sport. but when ever he fights its a boon the the economy. a fact. floyd also gets a piece of every item sold at his events. arum wishes pac could generate such income so he can steal even more from pac.GTFO

I can't imagine Pacquiao owing his new accountants anything other than maybe for work done. They likely paid a $10,000 bill for him and added the balance as their fee, which, because they were doing a lousy job, he may object to paying. He's so busy he may not even know about it, and it's being handled by an employee.

I don't think we are really aware of the busy-busy schedule of a global athlete, who wouldn't have time for all this nonsense. He's far too busy with his properties, meeting with his investment people, promoting himself, projecting the famous "Manny smile" or something like. Arranging for, and tucking away enough money so that can run for the governorship and later the Presidency.

He promotes himself well, but unfortunately, not his "voice" such as it is. i head him for the first time last week, and I can truthfully say that I was more than surprised at the stir he caused, and that anyone actually paid money for a tape or disc.............

And BTW, GBP and TR owe IRS millions of taxes too. This is of an orchestration and a well-known biz strategy.

You oughta complain this to the TS and tell him/her how this is NOT boxing related. If Top Rank, Don King, or GBP or anyone else in boxing be it a trainer or a boxer owe tax, it is legitimate for someone to post that information here. Again, you are missing the point. Mayweather is a boxer. Mayweather owes tax. Hence he is in the news on a boxing forum. If Manny owes taxes, that news would be posted here. You again is missing the point.

The amount from a particular fight is finite, why should promoters be expected to work at a loss They are in a business, where it's their job to earn every cent they can for their principal, but it's suicide to work at a loss, although it occasinally happens through their bad promotion, or even, luck.

Look up boxing promoters, likely on the internet. My uncle was an occasional promoter years ago, and I barely got a glimpse of what he was doing. And that was a revelation.
