i actually think the HW division will return to "glory", as perceived by many of the fans who don't really appreciate true champions like the klitschkos. i appreciate them, but once they are gone, the competition will be more intense because there won't be two fighters clearly better than everybody else. . .
it will be exciting in the sense that there will be a battle for supremacy! more than likely, eastern european fighters will be dominating the division, but it will be more competitive. . . GUARANTEE everybody will jump back on the bandwagon once they realize there isn't such a clear, dominant champion(s). . . Americans just love to hate on KLitschko success. . .Comment

Once the Klits are gone there will be next to no talent at all in the division. Watching two fat drunks fight in a tough man contest can be exciting to, it doesn't make them talented.Comment

I don't think you realize that there IS talent, just not in America. . . What about all the eastern european dudes?Comment

There is no talent in America or the rest of the world at heavyweight. There are a few decent guys and hopefully someone emerges from somewhere with real talent and skills, but most of todays fighters are out of shape and do nothing in particular to separate themselves from the others. As far as Eastern Europe goes....the best heavyweight are coming out of there, no doubt. But none have shown anything special in the talent department. To me being big and leaning on another guy isn't a talent. Im looking for a heavyweight who puts together his combinations upstairs and down, who moves his head and feints, who can fight on the inside and understands the value of angles. Who's defense is more than just tying another guy up every time he gets close. Im sorry, but there isn't a heavyweight in the world that does all these things now.Comment

Arise from what? The Klits are sitting high and ruling over a steaming pile of crap, they hold the "throne" because they are the best of a terrible bunch. Simples.
HW boxing is dead, I'd much rather watch a good domestic British HW tear up - little skill or potential on display but plenty of heart and fight in those guys - than watch the Klit bros bore me ****** bashing away over matched heartless bums on the 'World' scene.Comment
