but this fight will not be meaningless without it being at 160. its impossible it takes place at 160 and i think 154 is the best weight. but i doubt ppl could really make a strong argument against a catchweight of 150 or 151. still a really good fight.

i guess we will have to disagree. if serg says he can make it, then its good fight. i said the same about manny if he fought serg at 150 or 151. good fights. credit for either man for taking it.

Yes it is. Sergio is a Middleweight. Just because 154 happens to be a weight class limit doesn't make it any less of a catch weight. That's like saying Pacquiao-DLH wasn't fought at a catch weight. I could understand if Martinez was moving back and forth between classes like Paul Williams did, but he hasn't fought down there in years. I'm sure he could make it easily, but he's still a Middleweight.

150 is crap,fight him where it means something,160,but at the lowest 154 where Floyd fought Oscar,anything under 154 is a circus event

It just shows how great manny and floyd really are. Neither should even be fighting near those weight classes, but their skills and natural abilities are so great, we demand those fights from them.
