Danny Garcia -vs- Kendall Holt, Official Poll!

Just checked 5dimes, and was surprised to see Holt as such a heavy favorite. I'm surprised GoldenBoy is throwing Garcia in with a guy the bookies heavily favor over him..

Welterweight 12 rounds - Staples Center, Los Angeles, California - HBO PPV

    Sat 10/15 501 Danny Garcia +165
    9:30PM 502 Kendall Holt -215

Holt is very crafty, with pop and Garcia has shown himself to be very green at times. This a really interesting matchup. Poll to follow, please discuss!

Holt's going to need to KO Garcia to win right? His workrate is low enough that as long as Garcia works a decent amount each round he'll win.. Plus if the judges were to be slightly in the bag for one fighter over the other. On this particular card, they'd be more inclined to support the undefeated golden boy prospect right?

I don't know I would have given Holt a shot if he had a better trainer, but now I will agree he needs a knockout to win..

Garcia should get his chin tested here which makes it interesting but Garcia SHOULD win a comfortable decision but can rule out the KO from Holt. Garcia just needs to survive the early rounds which I think he def will.

It's fights like this where the odds surprise me and I get trigger happy that I tend to lose bets with. The reality is I don't know enough about Garcia to have very strong convictions on this fight. I mean no one really does on this level. This card really isn't that bad at all.

haha I here you man but I saw his fight on the undercard when Hopkins beat that dude in philly before the 2nd roy jones fight, and saw him against Nate Campbell he made both opponents look pretty ineffective. I like Holt definitely can't count him out, but I think i'm definitely putting money on garcia

I didn't realize he decisioned Cambell and knocked out Aranoutis since I last saw him fight.. I try to make it a rule not to bet on fights unless I'm confident on what both fighters will do, but like you said. This is looking more and more like a Garcia victory.. With the equalizer of Holt's power being the only uncertain variable.

Who do you think is more likely to be in the Judges pockets if the fight is close? I'm thinking Garcia.. Alright Garcia, I don't know what's up with the betting odds. But you have my support.

Holt all day. You were right, I dont know why you would switch sides.

                  Swift barely beat Theopane.

Holt by KO. Swift isnt ready.
