Theres a difference between a guy like Foreman who walked around at like 240lb's and boiled down to 220 for a fight and a guy like Haye who is naturally around the 200lb mark and downs protein shakes and eats 4000 calories a day to make 212lb

Lol. Haye himself has said he was struggling to cut weight to get to the CW limit, and you're trying to make us believe his walk around weight is 200lb? Why would Foreman cut weight too, when the HWs have no limit? That makes no sense.

What a load of crap. Size had nothing to do with it.

Well in the past heavyweights used to cut weight. Maricano would cut weight and come in light the guy was naturally much bigger than his fight weight. Back in the past coming in light was considered important (by light i do not mean weight drained) Dempsey was another who cut, so its actually difficult to compare the weights of fighter from the past. imo guys like Maricano, Louis and Dempsey would all probably come in around 205-215lb these days.

The reason Haye lost was his technique not his size, to me the size adv Wlad had was not as significant as I thought it would be.

On a totally different note its interesting when you watch some of Vitali's kickboxing fights from when he was 19-21 time the guy was like a bean pole and was around the 190-200lb mark.

haye's lack of size with regards to his balls and his poorly toe are the reasons he fell short at HW.

                bye, bye, david.

You're all taking as though Haye did not cut it at heavyweight............wasn't he Heavyweight World Champion after beating 7 foot Valuev? Yes he was!

The man who posted above who said Haye is a natural heavyweight is correct, he is, he always struggled to make Cruiser. He's also taller than people realise.

He's lost 1 fight at Heavyweight to Wladimir..in his first fight against a man that big with skill.

No disgrace in my eyes, at all - comments like f*uck Haye are just ill educated - the man talked so he made money and you're also failing to realise Haye has talked before every fight and delivered on all but 2 ocassions. His persona in interviews is very different to the trash talk, he's a nice guy.

Nothing to do with size at all. He didn't even try.

It was his size...the size of his heart that was the issue

Too bad he had the whole world duped. Wlad should have pressed the fight
