Isn't the belt that Pirog has now (WBO) the belt that Martinez was stripped for prior? I think it is something a lil more than Martinez not wanting to fight Pirog because of being nervous. Pirog won the title (vacantly) he didn't even beat Sergio for. Maybe the beef is with the WBO for taking the title away. All in all, I'm for Martinez/Pirog at some point.

Sergio needs to take this fight. And people should stop stressing about him getting robbed in Russia - he got jobbed against P-Will and Cintron, and it didn't damage his reputation or momentum, did it?

I have little interest in a fight with Lee. Pirog vs Martinez would be sick - and that's all we as fans should care about, not peripheral matters about location, money split etc.

You can argue they have made BS excuses in the past, but I've never heard Sampson (and maybe Dibella) directly lie before about facts. I mean, the stuff they said about Pirog have simply been opinions, not stuff they've lied about.
