Larry, I'm not trolling. I'm going to ask you a question:

What did you think of the Mayweather-Marquez catchweight...which on top of that Mayweather ignored?

I'm not defending Cotto for the catchweight either, by the way.

know the differance with that is..jmm was coming up 2 divisions..margo and cotto are in the same division and cottos the champion asking for the catchweight......floyd-jmm meant nothing just a ww beating up on a lightweight.....but why are 2 154 fighters fighting at a catchweight???i think margo really is in cottos head to be honest

LMAOL! Look at all these mexicans and ponchos with their little ******t bull****. Stop crying, you ***ing ****s. If cheato( a proven cheater) can use plaster then Cotto can get a catch weight.

To all the Floyd nut hugers hatin on Cotto's catchweight, if 1 pound isn't shlt then why couldn't Floyd drop that 1 pound to make 145 when he fought Marquez? To all the Miss pacman lovers, you have no room to talk about catchweights when your hero is the king of them. 1 pound does in fact make a difference. Cheato fought miss pacman at 150 and now he's bltchin about 153? Thats pretty funny.

“I don’t know why Cotto wanted to make this fight at 150,” Margarito said through an interpreter. “Then it went to 152, and now 153. If he is a champion at 154, I think he should defend his title at 154. If not, come down to welterweight again. I don’t know why there [was talk] about having a weigh-in the day of the fight. There is an organization that does that, but not the WBA.”

Mexico’s Margarito (38-7, 27 KOs, 1 NC) turned down the fight when handlers for Puerto Rico’s Cotto (36-2, 29 KOs) tried to force a 150-pound maximum. Margarito wasn’t interested in another offer, either, that would’ve required a 152-pound limit and a second weigh-in the day of the fight, at which neither fighter would’ve been able to weigh more than 160 pounds.

Stuff like the rehydration clause makes me wonder if Pacquiao pulled that on Cotto.

If Pacquiao did, Cotto must be feeling like an ass. "I got stuck with a rehydration clause and can't apply it to another guy!"

              :S

I can live with a catchweight, even though I hate them.... But a re-hydration clause is a whole different animal....
