The Black Lights: Inside the world of professional boxing. This book is about a early 80's (now recently deceased) fighter named Billy Costello. It's a pretty good read. It really shows how politics influence boxing. Especially Don King. Who at the time was pretty even with Arum when it came to promoting. It doesn't put Don King in a good light either. Although it does tell about how Arum screws over people too.

Two other books on Tyson are Blood Season and Fire and Fear. Those are pretty good too. A lot of behind the scenes stuff with Tyson's training and his relationship with Cus.

Two other books that some of the other posters have mentioned are Unforgivable Blackness and American Son. Those are good too. Jack Johnson and De La Hoya.

If you like Ali you can read The Greatest. Pretty much his autobiography.

Have you read 'Facing Ali: The Opposition Weighs In'?

That's the last boxing book I read. It was great.
