but i still think vitali would be better off taking that fight now.
he did that mistake already with the sugar man valuev, now they are unsuccessfully trying to pull the russian giant out of retirement.... too late!
It's a shame for the fans that nobody wants to earn their spots anymore. Less good fights.

I can't wait for Thursday's article "Comments Thread For: "Vitali Offers Challenge, David Haye retires"

this. he had his biggest fight already happen and he blew it. i honestly wouldn't watch vitali/haye. he should just hang em up on thursday and enjoy life outside of boxing.

I'd rather see him get KOd by Vitali than just retire after such an awkward loss. Landing some decent shots and hopefully going out on his shield might wash some of the bad taste out of the fans' mouths.

The whole Heavyweight division can retire and not that many people will care.

Let alone David Haye retiring..who cares really?

The best fights are at 122-168, with some at 175, and 160 is pretty plain as well. Cruiserweight and Heavyweight can disappear and I would not care. I like Steve Cunningham and the Klitschko's but the division they're in suck.

I am sure Booth is expecting to get almost as much money as the 1st time around.

If Klitschko does make an offer Haye will say he's getting lowballed and retire.

Anyone who thinks Haye is gonna sack up and fight Vitali is living in a fantasy world.

It's an artificial, meaningless deadline. At one point, it might have had some merit but now, it's just a tool to see if there's potential interest from one of the Klits so he can get another payday, while allowing him not to bother actually, you know, fighting his way back up to get a title shot.

Oh, and if you think he ran around a lot against Wlad and Valuev, it's gonna be even worse against Vitali.

                  **** him.

If he wants to retire, let him. If he has balls, he will go on and fight. No need for Vitali to push for another snoozer.
