dude that is an oversimplification in the greatest sense.

Margarito needs to find a way to force Cotto to go backwards again putting him on the ropes again but now has to protect his right eye closer while doing so. That means pinning that right hand to the side of his face, that means throwing the right less and providing more openings to his body on that side.

One thing Im sure of is that Cotto's jab is a bit better than the last time they met and Margarito ate that jab all night, so I dont see much changing except that Margs will have to bring that glove more to the front of his face to try to avoid damage.

I dont think he will be able to avoid damage so I hope for his sake that his plan is to truly jump on Cotto and go for a quick stoppage and less accumulated damage to himself.

Margarito has been off for a long time and everytime Ive seen him come back from a layoff he takes 3-4 rounds to get going, thats not good.

For Cotto's part they should know what to do from the first fight.

Dont go backwards, turn Margarito. Attack that eye, attack that body. Dont lean forward putting yourself into position for the uppercut and don't let your back hit the ropes.
