Comments Thread For: Miguel Cotto: Training is Going Great With Pedro Diaz

WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto is very happy with his new trainer, Luis Diaz of Cuba. Cotto recently replaced Emanuel Steward with Diaz. The Puerto Rican champion is training in Florida for his December 3rd rematch with Antonio Margarito of Mexico. The rematch takes place at New York's Madison Square Garden. On July 26, 2008, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Margarito (38-7, 27 KOs) stopped Cotto (36-2, 29 KOs) in eleven rounds.

wow yet another top fighter ditches stewart

never thought they would ever gell to be honest with you

cotto is prob best off without him no point trying to change a fighter this late in their career it will only confuse them of their identity just look at what happened to ricky hatton

I am glad things are going good between Cotto and Diaz. The chemistry might be real this time.

I hope it's true. I want Cotto to punish Margarito. I wont be happy if Cotto just UD Margarito.

I told you guys this a week ago when the annoucement was made. This marriage was cooking up years ago.

Diaz is a well schooled trainer. How many trainers have a PhD?? the dude knows whats up, is up to Cotto to perform!!
