Very bad move, Cotto replacing Steward.

He is going into a brutal fight, He needs someone like Steward to motivate him through this bout.
Miguel basically quit last time and gave in, With someone like Manny Steward in you're corner he could help you through that.
I'm not saying Cotto is going to get beaten that badly as last time, but he ain't the same as before the fight.
In my opinion he was a better fighter back then, then now.

Same can be said for Margarito.
This will be his fourth trainer in a little few years.
I have always had Margarito beating Cotto in the rematch.

I'm much more confident about that now.

When I see Cotto, I see a world class fighter with ****ty conditioning. Stamina, he needs a conditioning coach more than any trainer. He has always had the tools, just not the stamina.

bad move indeed, depends who is the replacement, margarito is a stylistically wrong for cotto and he knows it.. no trainer will change that

Wow, now this is surprising. This is a really dumb move if you ask me, this can only result in a negative impact. What the fuck is Cotto thinking before such a critical fight. Dumbass.

Oh yes I was meant to make a thread on this, his trainer is likely to be little known Pueto Rican ''Pedro Luiz Diaz''

Yeah I heard that too, This could go really bad for Miguel.
This is a dangerous fight and say what you like Margarito (and I'm not a fan of his,) he ain't the same but he knows one way of fighting and thats constantly coming forward.

Miguel is gonna crumble again I have a feeling.

I don't think Cotto had much choice about it. Think about it chaps. When does Wlad fight next? Who is his trainer?

it's not a bad move at all. The trainer isn't bad and speaks spanish. Top it off Cotto has ALL the advantages.
