First I read that Berto will be facing Old man Bailey and now Brooks? I see that once again we will be force-fed 10 more HBO appearances against tomato cans before we see Berto against a live opponent.

why would berto fight brook? makes no sense. brook doesn't even have a title, and has fought absolutely no threat. at least zaveck beat jackie and hlathswayo before the berto fight. hearn is right let's see what happens tomorrow... but berto should be off the radar regardless.

I'm sure DiBella is home right now watching grainy YouTube videos of Berto's next opponent. Or maybe he's just waiting a week before the fight to do that like he did with Zaveck.

i don't think dibella can be serious with this. he'd really only consider an euro if his boxer needed a title. wanna see berto-jones, now that they are setting up an eliminator anyway.

Theory: Eddie Hearn is blackmailing Dibella. First Barker and now Brook?

Anyway, there aren't exactly many people worthwhile at welterweight with the exception of Pac and May. And Berto already fought Zavek and Ortiz. Who else is there? At least Brook is rated top 10.

I say Senchenko's 0 has got to go. Berto would completely crush Brooks. Berto should put Senchenko to bed, then dominate Saul Alvarez after that. Canelo and Senchenko? Easy work for Andre Berto any day.

dibella is open to discussing matchups with unknown euros like barker and brook but when pirog is mentioned "**** pirog!"

berto needs to get that ortiz rematch and they can't be accusing him of PEDs to duck that fight

In fairness to Brook , unlike Barker atleast he is ranked and as of tommorow will have beaten (assuming he does) a decent fighter.

I actually like this fight. I think Brook-Berto will be a competitive fight.
