tito knew he lost and was smart enough to avoid it although it was a sucker move because his biggest achievement will now forever be tainted.

He talked all that **** about how he gave him a boxing lesson and how it was easy. Then why not fight again and have another easy payday vs a guy that you were easily giving a boxing lesson to? Yes Tito struggled with making weight at 147lbs, but he would have fought Oscar @147lbs again IF Oscar wanted to. DLH wanted the Lions share of the pot for the rematch and Don King wasnt having that. Oscar knew damn well Tito beat him and he thought since he was the Golden Boy that he could run the last 5 rounds and get ANOTHER GIFT DECISION.
Why would you go fight Derrell Coley instead of a HUGE EASY PAY DAY vs Tito? A guy you gave a boxing lesson to?

Tito moved to 154 lb and ODLH said that he would never fight him at that weight. Tito had outgrown at WW and had said that the unification bout between him an ODLH had to be done at WW.
Tito did take other challenges IMO he never avoided the rematch against ODLH.
There was so much hype before the fight that they called it the fight of the century. It was a let down in terms of excitment in a fight. Didn't hear a lot of ppl calling out for a rematch

'hence' lets move up in weight, witch Tito ended up doing after that fight. it was a good tactic by Tito's part. after all, he did get Thoroughly Outclassed.Dude why would they do that?....lol Oscar wanted the Lions share as the guy NOT with the undefeated record and NOT with the title. Him playing hardball was his way of NOT wanting to fight Tito again. Tito was NEVER afraid of anyone. Why would he be afraid to make a boatload of cash vs Oscar?
