I reckon it would have been a great fight, either guy could get the decision. All the makings of a FOTY candidate, such a shame it didn't happen...
Tito's two hands, superior conditioning than Oscar, I can't possibly see how Mosley wins. Mosley is a beast though, but I can't see him winning this match up. Trust me, I'd pick a prime Mosley over most fighters today too.

great fight.. love tito .. but oscar put the blueprint out on the guy. Bhop executed it... and winky perfected it. You have to have a good chin, and be skilled enough to outbox him, which i think mosley was... depending on mosley's strategy, it could either be a brawl, or a boxing lesson as oscar would describe it.

But they were completely different fighters

if mosley can take tito's power, he would win in a close fight.

Prime Tito and prime Shane fought in two different weight classes. At 147 it's pretty hard to pick against Tito.

On the other hand, if Shane could go 12 rounds, he might have enough speed to put Tito on the Tito on the floor a few times and win a decision. Then again, when Tito got kd it meant lights out when he got back up.

              the weight

I think it depends on what weight they fought at. I think Shane wins at the lower weight (140/147). Anything higher Tito wins

Exactly...Mosley had more of a chance to survive and last against a boxer like Forrest. Tito wouldve smashed the young Mosley at that time.

Oscar running the last 5 rounds is laying the blueprint? Why didnt Oscar rematch Tito if he already had the blueprint? lol Gimme a break, this dude wanted no part of Tito again. Thats an easy payday for Oscar right? Naw...he went for Derrell Coley instead.

When has Mosley gave anyone a boxing lesson? Are you serious?

Remember Tito dominated Pernell Whitaker. So how in the hell could Mosley have outboxed Tito?

I'd pick the 2000 version of Shane at 147. Tito had that big time power, but so did Mosley. The difference IMO is the chin. Tito was shaky early in fights & has been dropped by mediocre punchers. Mosley was far from a mediocre puncher. Plus Mosley remained strong. So I believe that Mosley would have started fast, dropped Tito early, while Tito would try his best to play catchup, but Mosley would hold the lead & win by UD.

I'd favor shane in a battle between the 2, but it wouldn't have been easy. One thing's for sure; this would've been a great fight.
