Margarito ain't even relevant or even ranked, and it's not like Cotto has done anything since moving up from 147. Maybe if he beats Lara, cause right now Bradley, Khan and Martinez are clearly more credible than Cotto.

Why not? He's a future hall-of-famer, with a title at 154, who has just avenged one of his only defeats. He's not in his prime but he's not way past it like Shane was when Pac fought him. Would be another good name on Mayweather's resume and another title at 154.. Floyd-Cotto is a case of better late than never.

He has been a credible opponent for Floyd since 2007. He is another fighter, who is one of the best of the current era, floyd's era who he didn't fight. People doubt Cotto's ability to make it a good fight because he is past his best and taken some punishment, but I would still rather watch him fight Floyd then most other guys out there, including Ortiz. Cotto is a better fighter than Ortiz.

in a floyd mayweather voice"you dont know **** about boxing" lol how are lara, bradley, khan and martinez more credible than cotto,, lara has 1 good win on his resume which is paul williams who got his ass whipped by quintana who cotto destroyed while quintana was undefeated,,bradley hasnt beat any relevent fighters at all and has been ducking whack azz khan for months now and martinez bishhh azz only wants to fight little guys,,, he's quick to call out floyd, pac,and cotto but when they tell martinez that b hop said he would fight him gay serg says "oh no he is too much bigger than me" on top of that martinez lost to margarito and cintron,,, cottos resume is way better than all these aholes,, im tired of ppl acting like cotto is washed up. cotto has 2 loses, one to a convicted cheater and one to pac who made him come in weight drained and wont take a drug test(random). i remember when fighters could have 4 or 5 losses and still be relevant.. these new boxing fans really ruined boxing with that one loss and you now suck attitude. i wish trinidad was boxing in this era at welterweight so he could sweep the floor with all these posers

Yes, for sure... Not as compelling as when he was undefeated, or even before he fought Pac, but DUUHHHHHH... Who is?

Anyway, Cotto will get taken to school, but its not like he'll go down without a fight. Floyd doesn't fight like Pac or Marg, so although he'll be outpointed, he won't be beaten into submission like he was in those fights, and may even shot the world with a better than expected performance...

imagine a vintage Cotto body shot stopping Floyd, lol HAH!
