Botha is an unbelievable dude, he has some balls. The man has fought EVERYBODY during his career. The punishment he has taken is also being overlooked. Fight fans don't care about the health of the journeymen and other not so great fighters who get KTFO left and right. Botha has been taking waaaaaaaaaaay more punishment than a guy like, say Jones.

MY BOY ALI FUNEKA IS BACK!!! HELLZ YES!! Funeka has the best fighting style ever! He fights behind a long jab, and has a nice, long, powerful straight right hand he shoots straight down the pipe. . . LOOK FOR HIM to cause immediate chaos in the 140 pound division. . . Once Khan moves to 147, the division is Funeka's for the taking!!! WAR FUNEKA!!!!

Not sure I take Botha seriously, he has skills and pop but is badly out of condition.

Danie Venter might be the next white South African to keep an eye on. #96 on boxrec. Did Simba in one round.

I can’t believe Grant and Botha are still even fighting, just a prime example to the state of crisis the heavyweight divisions is in nowadays…

Frans Botha still fighting has NOTHING to do with the "state of the heavyweight division"

It probably has to do with the state of his personal finances.

Archie Moore fought until he was nearly 50.

I wish people would stop all the b1tching and whining about the HW division. So what if the champions are not American anymore - learn to accept it.

Is it the year 1999 or something? I have no interest in seeing neither Botha nor Grant fight.

Who said anything about the heavyweight division lack of American talent as stated in my post???

Stop crying about the HW division? If you think the HW division of today is anything noteworthy of the last decade then please put your head in a car door and ask your neighbor to slam it for you.

You mentioning Archie Moore in the same breath as Botha and Grant is a testament to your ******ity, but no worries your idiocy is well noted!

Do us a favor and wait for the other half of your brain to develop before you reply, thanks in advanced!

actually the reason guys like rahman, botha, etc are still fighting is because there are 4 world titles with 4 or 5 regional titles in each organization available to earn a high ranking which means $$$$$$$$! botha headlining a fight vs grant in south africa will get both guys a nice payday...holyfield turned down 1 million for this fight hoping for the povetkin fight.evander better hope he gets it or he just lost a million payday...BOTHA isn't broke either.he likes to fight & get paid doing it...
