      Arguably.

Mainly because he doesn't throw that many punches.

But he definitely has an argument.

Both Floyd and Roy actually. During the Mosley fight I think it was the 4th or 5th round, Floyd didnt get hit once.

he was a good boxer, though. . . really enjoyed his fights with Haugen!

A better and actually more legit question would be, has Mayweather ran more circles inside the ring than any other boxer that ever lived???

He literally combines head movement, upper body movement, his arms, shoulders, and elbows to block punches. . . it all moves in rhythm. . . it's like he knows where the boxers combinations are going to go when the first punch is released. . .

He manages to HURT fighters with his defense! He will put up a high guard/ear muffs sometimes, and he'll time the punch, and throw his elbows outward; thereby causing the opponent to hit SQUARE on the point of his elbow - OUCH!

Watch - he did it against Judah, and Gatti most obviously (but he's done it against everybody) - they clearly backed off and winced in pain. . .

LOL Bombs you are a funny dude! There is truth to what you speak, but you gotta give Floyd his props! I'm TEAM PACSMASH as well, but I recognize that Floyd is a brilliant boxer, especially in regards to defensive wizardry.

That's what makes the fight with Pac so interesting - Pac is as good of an offensive boxer as Floyd is a defensive boxer. . .

I think he didn't get hit with a power punch in one of the rounds.

But I think he was hit atleast once every round of the Mosley fight.

Atleast according to compubox he was.

He is one of the only people to go a whole round without getting hit with a 'power punch' though.

Vitali, Roy... Pernell was more elusive but fought better fighters.

I agree - also Whitaker was THE BEST at TRANSITIONING from defense to offense. . . Nobody does it better. . .
