What Ortiz did to get Floyd was legit...rather u like Ortiz or Berto doesn't matter...after his struggles he moved up and took on an undefeated champ and won...that's how u prove that u deserve the big stage!! So Shane, Marg, and Hatton fall under that criteria if u ask me.
