...............sure, and that's great. Yet self preservation doesn't always work.
        take Ali for example.
another thing is, boxing is alot more than a business to some fighters and i'm referring to ones that say they're literally willing to die in the ring. Guys like Chico,Morales, Gatti ,Marquez, Chavez etc they've been in greater fights than Floyd.
Some of their fights will be remembered 100 years from now long after they're dead. So I guess they're choosing glory over their own lives. Which may seem ******ed to some. I think it's admirable to be honest

but I guess glory doesn't mean much to a guy thats willing to sucker punch a fellow boxer to get a W and then brag about it "You better protect yourselves at all time when you're ****in with me" ....that was the opposite of glory lol

it is the most admirable thing for a prizefighter period, the BALLS......floyd being practical is a good thing, but in a prizefighting bussiness where " no guts no glory is the number 1 motto, it is not as respectable....the game is called "prizefighting", not "self preservation".....

dying in the ring is probably the more merciful way to go rather than developing CTE. if I was a boxer, I'd rather die in the ring than have an orderly feeding me baby food when i'm 47 years old, which is exactly what Erik Morales has to look forward to. but what a warrior! haha

"self-preservation" is Floyd-speak for avoiding heavy hitters who have a solid chance of beating him, ie. Manny Pacquiao
