True. I've always scratched my head wondering why Mosley/Trinidad never happened.

Trinidad was a great great fighter, id rank him somewhere from 10-15 all time at WW, baring in mind WW is one of the original 8, a glamour division and one of the deepest talent pools in boxing

Loved Tito that man BROUGHT IT!

I agree it would have been special to see him in with Mosley, id also have liked Tszyu and Quartey but he fought all comers and ducked no man, top 5 all time favourite for me

        Mike Tyson
        Joe Louis
        Miguel Cotto
        Felix Trinidad
        Joe Frazier

Tito was a BEAST. . . those skinny arms possessed so much power. . . He is definitely an all-time great. My Boricua brethren, please be easy on me, but I believe that oscar got a bad decision against him! Last quarter of the fight notwithstanding, I think DLH did enough to get the decision. . .

Also ROALDIE - If Felix is an all time great, than so is DE LA HOYA! THey are both even in my book. . . I don't see anything Tito did that Oscar failed to do?
Last edited by UglyPug; 10-06-2011, 07:20 AM. Reason: LOL - pardon the ignorance - BORICUAN is not a word - it's "BORICUA" regardless of the tense. my BORICUA BRETHREN!

Yeah Tito was a beast, but I was always more of an Oscar rider. But There is one thing that I hate to no avail. People always seem to only remember the later part of both their careers. The prime version of those guys could go at least 10 rounds with the greatest welterweights of all time. If Tito was prime 147 right now, he'd be undisputed, lineal & ring all day.

                Tito love

Classiest welterweight, not a problem to his record to go out against Bhop at 160 that has since won the Lt heavy crown.Or Roy J Jr Former heavyweight champ. Moving up in weight with out great height is silly. As Roy Knows.

Any of the Editors proof reads these stories.

Anyway about the the few fights he could had done was against Quartey and an early Sweet Pea.

Norris was on his way out and Castillejo was no where near a fight that anybody was to excited to see.

As he went up in weight and faced the bigger skilled opposition he started to lose.

Tito was always an exciting fighter to watchand he was a real treat to boxing fans

Both fighters were moving up in weight. Its would had been an excellent match to watch. You can make a case with Forrest being in the mix but Tito was already fighting at an higher weight
