here is a picture of his gauze pad that was confiscated, and the only thing that you can argue is that its not fresh gauze other than that it looks straight.

plaster paris must dry here is a little information in the process and I am sure you will find more sites to confirm this is the method in mixing it and allowing it to set.

Plaster is made from common elements, it is simple to make so just because they are simple doesn't mean the intent was not there.

You know there is some time right between putting the gloves on and when they get down to the ring, and the substance even if not properly set plaster is still not just gauze. Just because it is not straight rocks does not make it less of a crime

Baking soda, come on dude~ get back to reality

I'm just 100% convinced the guy is a cheater and could have ruined Cotto's career if not his life. It may sound a little demented, but I wasn't at all sorry for Margarito when Pacquiao crushed his orbital bone. He doesn't deserve to fight, and it's a shame that didn't end his career. But maybe it's all for the better and Cotto will get the opportunity to do it himself. I would spit on Margarito if I ever met him.

Look, from my experience, after a work out in the gym, I had two white socks that I filled with Baking Soda, tied off in a knot each of them. when the gloves came off I tucked those inside to dry them out and keep the smell down.
when I went to the gym the next day I would take the socks out, wrap my hands and go to work, you could feel the powder on your hands.

Again I am stating this, if it were plaster paris, he would be in prison. it wouldnt need to have been rocks, if the Lab results came back and it was undeniable proof that it was plaster paris he would be gone right now.

I am sorry but I can only go on the facts that are out there and from my own experiences in the gym.
The gauze pad, again like I said and like its known, it was not fresh it was a pre used gauze pad, and again if you were to work out in the gym for 2 hours, take off your hand wraps set the pad aside for the next day which most in the gym do, you will notice the next day that, that same pad is stiff, and bendable....

all the evidence is consistant with that and not with the man putting rocks in his gloves.

Nobody said he was trying to smell fresh, what I am saying is he used, a previously used gauze pad, which is illegal, and at the time was accused of plaster paris which is also illegal.

Lab results smacked that idea in the face, only found elements that can be found in plaster paris but found in other items as well.

Now, where is this so called block that fell out as ****m said?

Why hasnt the DA put his ass in prison or even filed charges?

those questions have yet to be answered with any kind of logical sense.

If it was that easily explainable he would not have got his license revoked. There are not that many ingredients in plaster so if the elements found in plaster are in the wraps guess what, they were going to cause the gauze to harden, so even if it was a terrible mistake that was still what the end result was going to be hardened gloves.

A man that makes a mistake does not act indignant like Margarito, they are apologetic and sorry. I have never seen one ounce of remorse from Margarito, maybe I would believe you if Margarito owned up to a mistake but in my experience (and I have run into many cheaters) people who act like Margarito do not deserve the kind of benefit of the doubt you are giving him.

Pac had Illegal Loaded Gloves in the Margarito fight.

Pac had Illegal Plaster of Paris Inserts.
Before the fight Margo's trainer-Robert Garcia complained to Texas officials that he wanted Pac's re-wrapped cause he saw them place inserts in Pac's wraps, but the Texas officials (at DelaHoya's premidated order) refused.

Thats why Margo drank that powdered liquid cause he was countering mind games, since Pac would not re-wrap.

Margo had agreed to "throw" the fight so he can get re-licensed, but he alsio had to endure Pac's Illegal loaded gloves, and this , while Pac was "juiced up" with the illegal stamina booster-EPO, A-Side Meth, Steroids, and other PED's.

Margarito had to put up with lots of bull*****t:

a.) "lay down/throw the fight" with Pac in a FIXED FIGHT, so he can get re-licensed.

b.) endure the fight with Pac being on any EPO, Steroids, PED's

c.) endure Pac's Illegal Loaded Gloves.

Heres a thought, Maybe Margarito is telling the truth? how does that ring your bell? I mean how would you feel if someone was accusing you of something like this and you knew deep down inside that you didnt do or attempt to do anything?
Would you still show remorse? or would you feel as if the system is trying to **** you?

its that simple, if he didnt do anything wrong why should he say he is sorry? I mean the cold hard reality is, we can only go by what the lab results show, we can only go by the actions or lack there of, by the DA.

I give him the benifit of the doubt, because I am a firm beleiver in 2nd chances in life... So is Larry2011. so is B Hop etc... the man was punished justice has been served, I can not say he tried to use plaster paris because that hasnt been proven so I wont say that.

What I will say is he broke the rules, that state your to use fresh gauze only... and he was punished for it.

Thats the most I can accuse him of until proven with out a doubt other wise.
