I understand you and I agree that there was a violation of the rules regarding fresh gauze, the labs confirmed that there was no plaster paris just elements that are found in plaster paris and found in other substances as well.

But you insist it was, just like ****m said a block fell out... which that block some how pulled a David Copperfield.

I dont have to be this thick but when you have the DA back down from seeking charges I mean it doesnt get much more clearer than that, yet you still want to swear that he loaded his gloves.

I honestly think they just had some previously used pads that they used, that may have had stuff on them as they were likely from work outs. thats just my opinon though I cant prove that, but one thing I can say is that plaster paris if it was indeed there would have been present with the test, the test would have shown this.

Pads are a foreign object not allowed in the wraps, plaster requires water to get made if it has the elements of plaster when they get wet they become plaster then, the wraps never had a chance to get wet so it could never become plaster.

Attempting to cheat is the same as cheating, now he got lucky because it happened before hand so no one cared enough to really press beyond the commission level, but in reality is should be treated just as harshly if he beat in Mosley's face with loaded glove because the intent was there but hey whatever he caught a break I am not going to carry on about it and they are letting him fight again so be it, I think he is scum who never really took accountability for his actions blaming everyone but himself, if people want to give him a second chance so be it I would hope they are consistent though.

I have personally never thought of him as a special, he was a good solid fighter (a real fighter not a fake like Ortiz) but not what people made him out to be, this incident validated my view of him in my eyes and really don't think anything of him. Not as bad as Resto because that was strips of plaster with padding removed, those were rocks not gloves but still it is the same crime just much better hidden, I have n sympathy for dudes who do stuff like that their fate is their fate. No different than Felix Trinidad loading his fists with tape. Actually not as bad. Except I believe Trinidad sr said he always did it. Tape is much more denser than gauze and alot more of it can fit on a gloved hand. The amount of plaster of Paris that a small sponge can absorb is very minimal. Had Margarito done it before he'd have ruined his knuckles because the sponge in question would have rested on his hands.

it was not plaster paris, they found common elements, but those elements are also found in baking soda.
the pads as stated were used pads, used gauze formed into a pad to protect the knuckle I am confident that likely he had baking soda that got on those gauze, most fighters put baking soda in their gloves after a work out to get the smell out and reduce getting infection.
here is a picture of his gauze pad that was confiscated, and the only thing that you can argue is that its not fresh gauze other than that it looks straight.

plaster paris must dry here is a little information in the process and I am sure you will find more sites to confirm this is the method in mixing it and allowing it to set.
