Lab results came back, DA backed off, why?

Because the lab resuts showed that there were slight traces...TRACES of 2 of the ingredients of Plaster of Paris, there are always at least 3, and also, more importaantly, these ingredients are commonly used in many other products including COSMETICS........

Think absorbent powder...... The penalty was because the pads were used and the rule says they must be new. The Commission specifically stated that they were not accusing Margarito of any wrongdoing, but of the fact that he should have kknown that he pads were'n new. He was basically absolved, and the year suspension was a "tap- on-the-wrist". He wasn't prohibited from fighting anywhere else in the world, only the USA.

it was enough, which is why the DA was involved, and waited on the results they were set to lock him and his trainer up. again Why didnt they go after them when the test results came back.

Son we have technology today that can count how many buttons are on your shirt from space, we have DNA experts today that can free a man wrongfully convicted.

We have the stuff to lock this **** down and put Margarito and his trainer away for a long time, But once those results came back the DA obviously saw that there was no case to be made.

So if the DA backs off of him why are we still on him about this? I mean seriously the DA backed up, not because he was being nice, be backed off becuase the evidence that came from the lab was enough to make the DA realize there is no case here.

As a lawyer i'd say there's no way to prove in court that margarito was a willing participant in the events. if i was margaritos lawyer i'd have a field-day with the prosecution.

that said, i think he did load his gloves, he was disfiguring faces/ears before his monstrous power suddenly stopped; but it isn't going to matter much come dec. 3, he'll win again.

Ur statement is inaccuarte, where did u hear this from? if this were true then the HBO commentators and boxing experts wouldnt be able to say he tried to use plasters of paris and we know he did. As for the "DA" and nevada i dont trust then at all, they r a bunch of crooks. this area is very large mexican population and it shows margarito being protected and Arum helping him out, also wht would be the reason for firing his former trainer if there was no plasters of paris? hes been with him all this time and been pretty much sucessful, sorry dude theres so many thing against this theory and Margarito is a cheat and a criminal, he should have been banned.

I was pissed off that Tony would do something like that, and was all for him going to prison along with trainer once the evidence came back. The bottom line is the DA backed off because they found trace elements that are also found in Plaster Paris but they are also found in other items as well, such as hand creams, and baking soda, which baking soda is a commonly used substance for athletes to soak the sweet out of their shoes, or boxing gloves.

I know i used to put baking soda in a sock and stuff the sock in my gloves after the work out and they would soak up that sweet and keep the smell down. Tony had used pads that he used that is against the rules, but the DA not persuing charges is clear enough proof that he didnt have plaster in his wraps.

And to those of you saying he got caught trying and that its good enough for you not to support him. you guys didnt support him in the first ****ing place, so who really cares.
I do support him, I like his style I think he could use a it more defense but hey styles make fights and styles make fans...

The only reason they are holding on to this, even though the DA cleared him basicly, is becuase Floyd did duck Tony. But lets forget about that truth.
Tony was cleared, when the DA steps down and decides not to go after you, that says it all.
