it was enough, which is why the DA was involved, and waited on the results they were set to lock him and his trainer up. again Why didnt they go after them when the test results came back.

Son we have technology today that can count how many buttons are on your shirt from space, we have DNA experts today that can free a man wrongfully convicted.

We have the stuff to lock this **** down and put Margarito and his trainer away for a long time, But once those results came back the DA obviously saw that there was no case to be made.

So if the DA backs off of him why are we still on him about this? I mean seriously the DA backed up, not because he was being nice, be backed off becuase the evidence that came from the lab was enough to make the DA realize there is no case here.

I wouldn't say i'm a Margarito fan like some of the guys are with certain fighters on this board, but regardless of him cheating, the guy delivers a quality fight most times.

He cheated and probably did it a lot more then we realise, but he's as honest as the day is long when it comes to having massive amounts of heart and courage and being in entertaining fights.

Boxing is rife with cheating, like all sports where money is involved. Margarito was just one of the ones who got caught. He's not banned and is allowed to box, why dwell on it, lets see him in action and see what he is really made of without the wraps

Everybody get forgets or forgive in boxing unless it caused a death, Luis Resto.

People forgive/forget Mosley, Vargas, Toney, Chavez Jr, Jones Jr, Mayorga, Saddam Ali diuretic/steroid use and I would say Joan Guzman but everyone hates him.
The hate only sticks if the opponent dies. Sad, but thats just the way it is.

The way that it was handled was ****ed from the get, once ****m found it, he took it to Mosleys dressing room and had Mosleys Dr look at it, thats their side of the story, anything could have happend to that wrap in that dressing room, the commisson should have immediatly took it in their posession.

But nope ****m took it into their dressing room whos to say that ****m didnt plant something.... Not sayin he did but we dont know what happend to it while it was in mosleys dressing room

Ehh messing with your gloves or wraps has a special place in boxing that is way above PED use

i meant enough for his fans to realise he is shady and not support him

              and Chav,
sure there is cheating in allot of sports but him putting plaster or attempting to could put another fighters life in jeopardy, it could result in serious injury and it is an unfair advantage

the purpose of this thread was to find out why his fans back him

i think ped us and loaded gloves r ****ed up

but it seems like loading gloves puts ur opponent at more of a risk than peds do

and if a fighter i like gets busted for peds i wouldnt back them anymore

What pisses me off is that so many people criticize Margarito. But, no one made a peep about CSAC and how they handled it? The wraps were signed off already. By who? Is a question that no fan asked, why? How incompetent is the CSAC?

Everybody focused so much on Marg and Capetillo but ignore the CSAC and the person who signed off on the wraps. I never understood that. From my knowledge the dude never got fired or suspended or anything, why?

PED's dont always mean more power, more likely to kill. Hardening you gloves is a different story

I back him, I really do not beleive that he had loaded wraps, not then nor in previous fights, like I said in all my post here when the DA backs down after the lab results come back, thats all you need to know.

Had the lab results proved for a fact that they were loaded, well I would be were alot of you all are still, but I do beleive the lab results, Margarito didnt pay them off, I also beleive that if the DA backed down that alone is good enough to prove to me that he didnt have anythin but an old set a previously used wraps, which is still against the rules.

I will say this if you box, hell even if you dont box, go to a gym have your hands wrapped with gauze, work out for two hours, take the wraps off do not unfold the pad, let it sit over night, take a look at how soft that gauze feels in the morning, it will be like a dry spunge.

and I think thats what the case was here, he had old pads, but the rules call for fresh gauze to be used in every fight.
