While Wright had to go up in weight, Hopkins was still the underdog going in regardless of the weight.

The fight was certainly ugly but it was still a win over a top p4p fighter at the time.

i won't. No excuses if Hopkins loses. Because if he's just outpointed and not beat down or ko'd (which i doubt dawson could do), he'll be back with another catchweight fight with a big name, two divisions smaller opponent, looking lik Ali, and ya'll will say he's the greatest thing since sliced bread again.
