I always thought Steward was a bit ghay to be havin in the corner... Like a ghay pimp from a bad 70s flick. This guy Diaz seems more homegrown and I think He will bring something new to the table for Cotto. Steward seems to not really give a shyt about any fighter not named Tommy Hearns or Lennox.

I know for a fact, tha Diaz, made Cotto take his shoes off to teach him how to properly throw the right hand!!!

From what I heard Cotto was like WTF? and he was like get your damn shoes off son, you want to know how to throw a punch or not? jajajajjaa

I still dont like this change of trainers, but atleast the guy is taking charge and not letting Cotto try and train himself!!

At the end of the day...this is still better than having Santiago in your corner in the biggest fight of your career.

                I like this new guy.

He needs to stay hands on the whole time.

Make a strict game-plan for Margarito.

There is a blue print to follow. Go follow it.

Cotto goes through trainers like no ones business. Removing the shoes seems kind of weird to me.

This has me worried, I'm even leaning towards Marg now IF the eye holds up. Anyway you look at it this is 3 trainers in 6 fights for Cotto, that isn't a good thing. Getting new advice is great, but not to where nothing ever truly "sinks in." Apparently this guy knows what he is talking about but he's worked with Jean Pascal I hear, if Cotto says this guy is good with stamina you have him linked with Pascal that's not a good thing. He has possibly the smallest tank behind Berto.

Throw the right hand? He needs to emphasize on throwing the left hook to the body against Margarito. I dont recall him doing that in the first fight that much if at all. Its definitely his most effective punch. He should've gotten Barrera's trainer Rudy Perez. That wouldve been interesting
