To tell you truth Pac does not belong higher than 147 and Sergio should not go near 150 like he said, he would probably weight drain at 154!!

Pac came in at 144 for his fight at 154, so please dont act ******!!

PAcquiao experimented the 154 division he could not handle it, thats why he said he wont go back to 154.

If Pac comes and say hey Sergio come down to WW and fight, and Sergio say no, is not a duck, the same by Manny saying no to 154(150)

I just made this thread for the people like you who says Manny is ducking!!
where did i say manny was ducking sergio??i said id love to see the fight.but where did i say he was ducking him???please show proof

Martinez weighing in at 176, from his camp in Oxnard, CA and from Wash., DC, Williams weighed 162 pounds. The contract weight for the Saturday, November 20 bout at Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall is 157-pounds.

And that was at the 30 day weigh in so you can imagine he walks around heavier than that.
      ok...I stand corrected

Anyways, for me Martinez should earn his shot. His resume is not that good and after to wins he think he is the all and all. He needs to humble himself!!!

He doesnt even wan to fight the top contenders in his division

"My body has a tendency to lose weight. I'm a small middleweight -- I'm not a natural middleweight like Kelly Pavlik, who is a big fighter. If I had to go up a little bit to a catchweight in order to get a fight with guys like Andre Ward or Carl Froch, I wouldn't have any problems. But going up directly to 168 would be suicidal for me. I walk around at less than 168 when I'm not even training, usually at about 165. I'm definitely not ready for that division."

164-165 was his fight night weight when he fought at 154. He could make it easily. And as far as making 150, he said he would take 3-4 months to lose the neccessary weight safely so he doesn't have to drain himself too much.

Looks like Sergio needs to get his story straight because last week he said he walks around at 172-175 and we KNOW he weighed in at 176 a month before a fight scheduled for a 158 catchweight.

164-165 was his fight night weight when he fought at 154. He could make it easily. And as far as making 150, he said he would take 3-4 months to lose the neccessary weight safely so he doesn't have to drain himself too much.
Fine, if Sergio says he can 150 and be effective, and HE'S the one calling for the fight and the catchweight, then it's on HIM.

            I won't.
Maybe we'll put that to the test come next Spring.

ok so when martinez wants to fight pacquiao, he's too big for 147, he cant make 154 no more (this is coming out of his mouth, not mine).

but when a super middle weight or b hop calls him out... he's a natural ww, 168 is too big for him, he will never fight over 160.

              GOT IT!!!

Pacquiao's team said 150 and Sergio accepted. His advisor said natural WW and that was no doubt a mistake, but he is a natural JMW if anything (which he also said).

Pacquiao fought Margarito at 150 as well and Martinez has never fought over 160. He would also have to gain 8-10 pounds as opposed to the 3 Pacquiao would.

I believe Martinez has said he would be willing to fight at 163-164 against the Super Middleweights.

i dont see a problem with them fighting at 150. its just funny how sergio volunteers to go to 150 for the fight.... if pacquiao accepts, pacquiao is fighting at weight drained fighter and forced him to move down a few extra pounds :/

bute said he's willing to go down to 164. he sells out stadiums... has tons of fans. sergio would make a very good payday with him. alot more than barker and dzinziruk for sure. but you dont see him saying **** about bute...... he's too busy calling out a 144 pound man.

If May keeps on ducking Pacquiao (which is a known fact), then let the fight roll after Manny's done with Bradley.

I would love to see Serg fight Pac although everyone knows there will be a lot of naysayers out there to discredit it since both cant fight together at their own weight classes. But that's ok.

But please let Manny take Bradley first.

I agree it does seem a little odd given the size difference...but in all fairness to him...Pac or Mayweather would be where the money is at and you can't blame him for wanting the biggest payday he can get. I think if he was given the chance to make that kind of money he would go down to 147 if he had to and would be very competitive.
