Agree 100%. His team said he was a WW so a fight at 147 would be legit... Make it happen.

Stop it. You know as well as I do if Bob Arum announces on Nov 13th that Manny is fighting Sergio at 150, he would get CRUCIFIED by the likes of you. Sergio has no business being that low in weight on the scales. The guy walks around at 175-180. And that's with a low body fat percentage, not like he blows up from binging on food and beer like some fighters.

It was only about a year ago when Martinez said that he would have to chop off a leg to fight at 154. That dude will say anything to avoid fighting Pirog

i'm in the opinion that if pac should fight martinez, it MUST be at 154.

anything less than that and even if Pac should win, Martinez would be called a weight-drained opponent and thus his win wouldn't amount to much.

No, Martinez is a grown man that can make his own decisions and knows his body better than a random person on the internet like your or me. If he says he can make 150 given enough time, he can make it. I will give Pac all the props in the world if he accepts.

Enough with the 175-180 stuff. I'll give you that at one time he might have been that heavy. But obviously that's no longer the case. 3 months after Dzinziruk and 3 months before Barker, Martinez claimed he was only 169 on twitter. Seeing how he was only 165 against Barker, it's pretty obvious he was not lying. You can bring up that old 30 day weigh-in with Williams in all you want, but it's completely irrelevant now. His 30-day weigh in with Dzinziruk was 173. And now the most recent evidence is that he walks at 169-170. He did not gain any weight after fighting Dzizniruk. If anything, he lost weight in his "walking around" time, intentionally or not.

They also said they wont go back to 150, because it was too much for Pac!!!
Freddie Roach said 150 catchweight three whole months after the Margarito fight. And this was on his own accord without anyone even mentioning Martinez.

Anyway, I was being facetious with the "Who's ducking who?" comment. If Pacquiao doesn't want to fight Martinez, fine. I still want to see Pac fight Martinez. I don't understand what kind of boxing fan wouldn't want to see Pacquiao vs Martinez happen and why people spend so much time "protecting" Pac on the internet. Boxers call each other out all the time. No need to take it so personally.
