Lee showed me that he isn't just a chinny brawler against Vera this time around. If he keeps this style and resists the urge to trade with Martinez I think his size and boxing ability will trouble Martinez more than most would expect.

0 defense? NAY. . . his defense is LEAKY, but it's there. . . he has better defense than williams, dzinz, and pavlik. . . not quite as good as barker's, but the STYLE LEE FIGHTS doesn't require him to have that good of defense. . . he KEEPS DISTANCE JUST LIKE SERGIO! Sergio has zero defense, but he has fast feet so he just scoots away from danger. . . the way he gets hit by jabs so easily, lee is licking his chops. . . and the DISTANCE lee will be able to fight sergio at. . . he hasn't fought a middleweight with the power of Lee either. . . Pavlik, doesn't have one punch power like Lee. . .

he wasn't really chinny in the first fight either, he never came close to kissing the canvas, and he was perfectly lucid; it was a horrible stoppage - it's just his stamina; he doesn't have the stamina to be ****ing it out like that. . . also he didn't clinch properly, nor move SIDEWAYS - he moved straight back. . .

he needs to keep fights at a distance. .. and since sergio doesn't like to fight on the inside either, it will be PERFECT for him. . . it will look like the pavlik/martinez fight from rounds 5-8 for the entire fight. . . lee keeping distance and timing sergio everytime he tries to jump in.

i can see why so many of you would think it's a mismatch, though. . . a lot of fans just can't "look closer", and see the finer details that make such big differences in stylistic matchups. . . you are too caught up in the hype (of martinez KO2 over williams), the flash of sergio's style, and the favorable style matchups for martinez up to this point. . . it's ok - 95% of fans think like that as well. . . .

I'd rather see Lee-Proksa. Though I doubt it ever happens.

I see your point & how his height/reach may cause Sergio some problems but he's very stiff & predictable, he also panics. I think he's got a rather upright amateur style & he just seems robotic & almost like he has knee issues.

He should continue to improve under Manny Steward but I just can't see the guy being much of a threat to Sergio.

Im not saying he has no chin but he has been stunned the last couple times I saw him fight. He definitely cant trade punch for punch with Martinez imo. I agree with a lot of what you're saying but he doesn't hit harder than Pavlik. I like his chances to make this fight interesting because I think people are ignoring just how poor Martinez's defense really is. I also believe people are underestimating Lee's boxing ability. He has the ability but I think he overlooked opponents he felt he was superior to.
