I like Victor. He's got a great personality and can do great things in the sport after he retires. But to resort to headbutts on the assumption Floyd was using his elbows while Cortez brushed it off, is kinda shady.

That fight fight will have to be reviewed in super slow mo to catch all of Floyd's elbow "shots". And the "shots" will have to be identified as "strikes" by a long shot.

There's nothing illegal about Floyd using his elbows to deflect shots or create space between himself and his opponent. Absolutely nothing.

There would have to be a serious commission investigation to determine whether Floyd used his elbow(s) as a weapon throughout the fight which may have given Victor reason to use his head as a weapon.

The chances of that happening are nil.

People realize Vic did something to get himself disqualified more than any other reason he chooses to justify his actions.

That's the bottom line.

I wish Floyd would've taken the "high road" and finished him off the right way.

Mayweather will always remain a very polarizing fighter because that's the way he decided to market himself but the haters will always hate him and his supporters will always love him. It was a cheap shot but a very deserving one. All you guys that hate on Mayweather are bias idiots because you guys completely disregard what Ortiz did. I wished it didn't end that way but Ortiz got what he deserved and a rematch is ridiculous because Ortiz would just get outboxed again. He wants a payday and that's it.

Yeah he got hit and some were good shots but let's be honest, Mayweather was clearly winning easily and you have to be a damn moron to dispute that. Damn it man, i think Mayweather is a jerk and he does like to use his elbows from time to time but Ortiz wasn't going to win that fight and he was definitely getting outboxed. And if you say he was coming back then you're a moron. Someone that blatantly headbutts someone like that isn't on the comeback.

You watch those vids first before responding, and tell me he was clearly lossing, and at the same time follow all them elbows and tell me you would have not butted him like that in retaliation.

After the fight, Floydie indeed said that he's going to give Ortiz Rematch,

but then, judging from Floydie's mind changing attitude, I doubt that the rematch is possible.

another thing, i am a fan of Floyd but I'm a fan of Manny also. Manny definitely has what it takes to give Mayweather his first lost ever because he's an incredible fighter. I'm not a damn bias boxing fan like most of you guys. You Floyd haters say a lot about Floyd not fighting tough fights and have a point but you guys don't say a damn thing when Manny fights the same fighters Floyd already fought.
