why would marco want to take a dangerous fight for small money.
it would be an exciting fight.

I bet he fights Jesus Chavez...him and Morales are just going to follow each other around the rest of their career.

MAB would fight Erik 10 ten times in a row if it meant he didnt have to fight JMM or Pac...and not all of it has to do with money.

It sounds really wierd but I want no part of a 4th fight with the two...I want to see other matchups and I really believe unless pushed MAB will stick with the status quo...

    Hope Im wrong.

Barrera better bring his A game. Barrios is tough sob and lets keep in mind Barrera is in a stronger weight class. Which means he isnt stronger than anyone here, he has be better than them to win. An upset would not surprise me here. If Barrera can ko Barrios he will have gained the respect he lost with me in the Pacquiao fight.

I agree that Barrera needs to fight Pac man. He has that defeat hanging over him and his career will always be incomplete if the rematch deosn't happen.

Let me put it this way...I will hold a higher opinion of MAB if he fights PAC a second time and loses then if he never fights him again.

I have heard some experts talk about my boy JL Castillo and they have said Castillo needs to go to the 140 pound divison and beat a couple belt holders and that would secure his place right behind Morales and Barerra...if Barerra doesnt fight PAC-Castillo in my mind will be twice the fighter-Castillo's resume is riduclous and he should start getting some more respect.

Castillo is underated amongst his own people and Im shocked...I have never seen anything like him!

Here I go off on my Castillo tangents, sorry.

I'm sorry to burst your bubbles guys,

But this fight is not signed and wont be in the short term. Thats exactly what the article says.

There was talks of Barrera facing Barrios, however they opted to fight Jesus Chavez Instead and thats the fight they are trying to sign right now.

So Barrios is once again without a shot. The article says maaaaybe after the chavez fight. However i think its unlikely.

                hmm

Chavez even better. Chavez would have beaten Morales had he not tore his shoulder up and I thought that was obvious. One handed he gave Morales hell. Chavez is big and active and skilled. This will be a good fight.

Wow, today I've said two things I never imagined saying.

Barrera is NOT fighting Barrios, he's fighting Chavez:

                      ESPN.com news services

Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley and Jesus Chavez have tentative agreements for a series of fights next year, The Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

De La Hoya will face Ricardo Mayorga, who currently owns a junior middleweight crown, on May 6. No site was reported.

It would be De La Hoya's first bout since a September 2004 loss to Bernard Hopkins. De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions has signed the pacts for the fights, but it is unclear whether De La Hoya will promote his own fight, The Times reports.

As ESPN.com's Dan Rafael first reported, Mosley will fight Fernando Vargas in a 12-round junior middleweight bout on HBO PPV. The Times reports the duel is set for Feb. 25.

Chavez is set to fight Marco Antonio Barrera, who currently owns two junior lightweight belts, on March 25. In Las Vegas last month, Chavez and Leavander Johnson fought. Johnson, 35, suffered a serious brain injury during an 11th-round TKO loss to Chavez and died five days later.

But Chavez's tentative return to the ring comes with encouragement from the Johnson family, The Times reports.
