A headbutt and and elbow is the same they are both fouls, What ortiz did yes was dirty was wrong nobody has even debated that, I beleive it was in frustration and retaliation again Floyd has been warned in the early part of the 2nd round about that elbow.

    crillz

Nobody is defending Ortiz per say, I think everybody here agrees that the headbutt was dirty. What we do disagree with is how Cortez ****ing lost control, weather time was in or not.
At the point in which Mayweather loaded up with that left hook, Cortez said bell. and when you hear a referee say bell, well chances are your thinking the round is over, and thats where the **** up was, he did not follow the rules and he has gotten away with it.
I am sorry though but as a fighter, if you start throwing your elbow out there as I am moving in if the ref doesnt do **** ima get your ass one way or the other be it a headbutt, a low shot or an elbow back.

sammiza567 I am sure you do not box at all again nobody said the fight wasnt dirty, but to use the headbutt as justfication in this matter well I say you dont know the sport that much.

Who cares about hugging? If I want to see fighters constantly embracing eachother throughout the fight, I can just watch a Pacquiao fight.

Barker absolutely violated the number one rule in boxing "protect yourself at all times". C'mon Sergio, a win is a win, no matter how ***** you look.

They hugged, stepped back and went back to work. I jokingly told my friend, "Uh oh.. here it comes! .. fight over!"

but Martinez and Barker have honor and I guarantee neither boxer even contemplated a sucker punch even when it would have been so easy.
I just saw that, it was in mid-9th round. Sergio was pissed and they touched gloves for a few seconds.

Instances like these exemplify why I was so dissapointed with Sergio, he wouldn't have to have had "she" keep writing, it could've been, "that's all she wrote."

However Barker was a tuff son of a *****, pillars for a defense kinda hard to split that high gaurd like that against a man who is obviously much bigger than you are over all.
The stoppage actually started in round 10 when Sergio caugth him with a right hook and it wobbled him from there it was all down hill. There was little known about Barker, Sergio had to find out about him the old fashion way, and he found a way to win and did so by knock out.
Sergio dissapiointed me. He has absolutely no chance against the unbeatable, look at how many times he could've finished the writing and he came up short every time. He has a blueprint to get beat.

There is a blueprint no doubt, But Floyd doesnt have that kind of style to do it, you either walk him down and break him down like Margarito did or you stand in there with him toe to toe and hope the judges are as nice to you as they were to williams and keep in mind Williams hit the canvas in that fight as well.

I am sorry but the only way Floyd beats him is if he makes sergio come down to 150 or 154ish, anything above that Sergio is healthy enough to give Floyd his first defeat.

Sergio has a gameplan to get beat, Floyd doesn't. Don't you get it yet? I've just shown you 15 times Floyd would've gotten Sergio outta there, no more writing, "that's all she wrote". Floyd doesn't have a blueprint to get beat, and we already know he'd have knocked Sergio out after the headbutt in the 9th round.
