I was actually really impressed by him. He completely shut Vera down. Essentially kept him at distance the whole fight, and even toyed with him a bit in the 12th.

He worked almost a Wlad type gameplan against Vera, totally outclassed him but what a chin Vera has, some of those right hooks would have ko'd most MWs.

Andy Lee is not on the same level as Pirog, Martinez, Proksa, and Golovkin.

I like Lee, I think he's a decent fighter but I don't see a lot of talent in him.

Lee isn't quite as skilled as Pirog, no. . . But he is better than Golovkin, Proksa we odn't know enough about. . . and Martinez is better overall. . . But Lee still would give a good fight for Pirog and marintez due to his style. . . he's VERY hard to get too. . you gotta be willing to go through fire if you wanna get his chin. . .

Andy Lee has talent and did well to win like he did against an opponent who previously knocked him out.

I really don't like his chances against Martinez or Pirog though. He is still too hittable to win against these guys.

They both would knock him out.

He won, but I wasn't that impressed. There's something missing there. He gets hit too much but someone like Vera. Fights at the pace of a Klitschko, which he shouldn't do at MW.

I was impressed and he did live up to his promise short of Knocking Vera down or out. I would just like him to follow up a bit more on his punches especially when he caught Vera with some very nice shots that hurt him. You could see Manny Stewards gameplan in effect last night and wow does Vera have a chin.
