I've been saying for a while that even though Martínez is calling out smaller guys, the man is on his way out, and needs a good payday so *** it, but he's not going stand against a body puncher like Cotto once they get to letting go on the inside. Cotto can keep the pressure and neutralize Martínez's punching. Cotto's jab is going to keep Martínez guessing too, he ain't ready for a strong jab like that. Cotto's body punches is overrated man, where was it against Clottey, Margarito, Pacquiao, right now he's practically one handed, hardly throws a right, decent defense at best, the hell would Miguel do?

Sergio Martinez does have serious flaws, but Cotto ain't good enough to exploit them, and that's obvious to see too.

Cotto takes a huge step before he initiates his offense, Sergio would be timing and countering him all night. Martinez is bigger, stronger, and faster, Cotto's defense against southpaws is leaky too.

Martinez wouldn't one side him because Cotto's timing, discipline, and Steward's strategizing would have them improving on Barker's strategy, but what I already mentioned would lead to Cotto's wearing down and being stopped.
