I think its very possible prime Wright beats Martinez. Stylistically he poses a lot of problems for Martinez.

Wright was quite a good fighter once upon a time, and I think he would have beaten Martinez at 154. Not entirely sure about 160.

Winky would have a good chance at winning against Martinez, but don't get it twisted as if he's some chump because of today's sub-spectacular performance. Just as Martinez would have trouble against Winky's shell defense, accuracy, and jab, Winky would have trouble against Sergio's speed, counter punching, and footwork.
        stopped jermain taylor??????????

dude. we're talking about a 154 primed winky......

HAHA he overlooked him? nah man nah!!!!

Barker just came to fight. when he used the high guard is when he was most effective.

He may have overlooked Barker but a rime Winky is circa 2005....Winky is a shell of himself now. This isn't fantasy land....Martinez makes Winky quit as well at that this point (I was a BIG Winky advocate when he was active)

Martinez is a sucker for jabs dude never saw a jab he didn't like and Winky had a great one. I think Winky wins a UD.

Yup but there are so much variables in a fight, but yeah....
tight defense and straight punching at close quarters = problems for Martinez

I could see that too but I don't think there's anything strange about that. A prime Winky was a very very boxer and a nightmare to face for most boxers. Winky's jab was outstanding. Sergio is good but he's not untouchable or anything. Let's not overrate this dude.

Did I, or did I not advise Steroidgio to go to a boxing gym to learn a proper boxing stance for exactly this reason?
