Anyhow I read Arum say supposedly he has reached an agreement with Mayweather for a 2 year agreement after the Mitchell fight. If that is true, Mayweather is a ****ing idiot. I had if 6-3 Mayeather after the 9th, but Chavez was making a fight of it. He was throwing over 100 punches a round for 9 rounds.

Mayweather was clearly winning, but he was being pressed to fight, and as a result he was fighting back well.

It was a great fight.

This was a great tilt. Just watched it again reccently.

It was actually very close and competitive until Chavez's corner (wisely) stopped it after the ninth.

I think at the time of stoppage Chavez had landed approx 170 of 930 punches, and Floyd 180 of 450.

They were really going to war in the last few rounds with Floyd's accuracy being too much for Chavez.
